When it comes to shoot, and looks good, the lighting is everything. Until it is satisfactory in light of your recording, the HF20 comes in a crisp, bright picture that looks good HDTV. AVCHD is more support to win, and on my Mac is so easy to work with multiple downloads P2. Both iMovie and Final Cut Pro (version 7), can comfortably accommodate film from the camera. I jumped up highly recommended for a shotgun microphone, which is in the hot shoe, and a battery of higher capacity. With 32 GB of memory, you need a better battery, first ever for the complete memory on a roll aspect. Results very easy and very positive.

While not a professional camera (which I'm sure you must know now), is a bloody great camera for the price. And 'perfect for boy or girl who wants to go ready to capture every spontaneous moment. The video quality is good enough to share with friends and family online. The pictures are not very good, but work in a pinch. The only reason I give this product 5 stars is because it SUCKS for Mac users when you connect the device and load the media, the video does not play on software for Mac natively. Presumably there is some geeky work-around, but with so many other cameras that are compatible for Mac, I'm just going to come back and buy another. If you are a PC user, it is little wonder a great buy!
