Introduction to New Type of Memory Cards - SDHC - Secure Digital High-Capacity

SDHC (Secure Digital High-Capacity) flash memory cards are new on the SDA (Secure Digital Association) 2.00-specification. SDHC memory card offers removable memory for compatible digital devices like cameras, camcorders, PDAs, MP3 players and more. SDHC cards that have a minimum quality for data transfer, not a maximum speed. There are three speeds available - Class 2, Class 4 and Class is 6.There the difference of the data transfer rate (DTR)between these classes.

A Class 2, a minimum data transfer guarantee of 2 MB / sec
Class 4 devices guarantee a minimum data transfer of 4 MB / secClass 6-devices guarantee a minimum data transfer speed of 6MB / s
